Throughout scripture, God’s people were encouraged to learn His Word, teach future generations, and grow in wisdom.
Proverbs 9:10 says:
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”
Education becomes most valuable when it helps us better understand God’s truth and equips us to serve Him faithfully.
Seek Wisdom Above Knowledge
Knowledge and wisdom are not the same.
A person can know many facts while lacking the wisdom to use them well.
The Bible encourages believers to seek wisdom from God because He understands every situation perfectly.
