Trusting God is one of the foundations of the Christian faith.

During those moments, it can be tempting to rely only on our own understanding or search for answers apart from God.
The Bible calls believers to place their confidence in the Lord instead. Although we may not always understand His plans, we can trust His character because He is perfectly wise, loving, faithful, and good.

Isaiah 40:31 says:

Worry grows when we try to carry burdens that belong to God.
Trust brings peace because it reminds us that He is in control.
Although trusting God does not remove every difficulty, it changes the way we respond to those difficulties.
Instead of living in fear, believers can rest in His promises and His faithful care.

The Bible is filled with examples of God’s faithfulness.
He provided for Israel in the wilderness.
God protected Daniel in the lions’ den.
He remained with Joseph through years of hardship.
Most importantly, He fulfilled His promise of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Because God has always been faithful, we can confidently trust Him with our future.
How to Grow in Trusting God (Practical Steps)
1. Spend time in God’s Word
Faith grows through knowing God.
What to do:
- Read scripture daily
- Study God’s promises
- Reflect on His character
👉 The more you know God, the easier it becomes to trust Him.
2. Pray about everything
Bring every concern to Him.

- Pray honestly
- Share your fears
- Thank Him for His faithfulness

Looking back builds confidence.
