January 27, 2025Bible Verses About Being Content With Yourself
January 27, 2025This is something a lot of people think about:
👉 Is Jesus actually coming back?
👉 And what does that mean?
The Bible talks about this clearly — but it can feel confusing if you’ve heard different opinions or explanations.
So let’s go through it simply.
⚡ The Clear Answer
👉 Yes — the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus will come back
This is not symbolic or unclear.
It is described as:
- a real event
- a visible return
- something that will affect everyone
What the Bible Says About Jesus Coming Back
1. Jesus will return
This is stated directly.
Acts 1:11 (KJV)
“This same Jesus… shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”
👉 Just as He left, He will return
2. His return will be visible
This is not something hidden.
Matthew 24:30 (KJV)
“They shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds… with power and great glory.”
👉 His return will be seen, not missed
3. No one knows when
This is where people get caught up.
Matthew 24:36 (KJV)
“But of that day and hour knoweth no man…”
👉 You are not meant to predict it
In fact, the Bible says it will come unexpectedly, like a “thief in the night”
4. He will gather believers
The Bible shows that when Jesus returns:
👉 believers will be brought together with Him
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV)
“The dead in Christ shall rise… we… shall be caught up together…”
👉 This is a central part of His return
5. His return brings both salvation and judgment
This is important to understand properly.
👉 For believers:
- hope
- restoration
- being with Him
👉 For others:
- judgment
- accountability
What This Means (Keep It Simple)
1. This is certain
The Bible speaks about Jesus coming back many times.
👉 This is not a minor idea
👉 it’s a core part of the faith
2. You don’t need to figure out the timeline
People often get caught in:
- dates
- theories
- arguments
👉 That’s not the focus
3. It’s meant to keep you grounded
The purpose of this teaching is not fear.
👉 It’s awareness
👉 It reminds you:
- this life is not everything
- God is in control
- there is an end to all things
How to Respond (Practical but simple)
1. Stay ready — not anxious
You don’t prepare by worrying.
👉 You prepare by:
- living properly
- staying grounded in God
2. Don’t ignore it
Some people avoid this topic completely.
👉 But the Bible includes it for a reason
3. Keep your focus on God, not fear
If this topic makes you anxious:
👉 bring it back to truth
