The message of scripture is not only about judgment.
It is also about hope.
Through Jesus Christ, God has provided a way for every person to be forgiven and saved from eternal separation from Him.

The Bible describes hell as a real place of judgment for those who reject God and remain in their sin.
It is not a place that God created because He delights in punishment.
Rather, it is the just consequence for sin and separation from a perfectly holy God.
Jesus warned about hell because He wanted people to understand the seriousness of rejecting God’s offer of salvation.
His warnings were expressions of love, calling people to repentance before it was too late.
Why Does Hell Exist?
God is perfectly holy, righteous, and just.
Because of His holiness, sin cannot simply be ignored.
Romans 6:23 says:
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Every person has sinned.
Without God’s intervention, all people stand guilty before Him.
Hell is the consequence of remaining separated from God because of sin.
However, God did not leave humanity without hope.
He sent Jesus Christ to bear the punishment for sin so that everyone who believes in Him can receive eternal life.
Jesus Is the Only Way to Be Saved

John 14:6 says:

Second Peter 3:9 says that the Lord is:
“Not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
God patiently calls people to Himself.
His desire is for people to receive His mercy rather than face judgment.
That is why He sent His Son into the world.
Eternal Life Is God’s Gift
Salvation cannot be earned through good works.
It is received by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Those who trust Him are forgiven, adopted into God’s family, and given the promise of eternal life.
This promise offers hope to everyone who believes.
Judgment Is Real
The Bible teaches that every person will one day stand before God.
Hebrews 9:27 says:
“It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
Because judgment is certain, the Bible repeatedly urges people to respond to God’s invitation while there is still time.

1. Recognise your need for a Saviour
Every person has sinned.

- Be honest before God
- Understand your need for forgiveness

- Trust His death and resurrection
- Believe His promises
- Place your faith in Him

4. Live as His disciple
Faith produces a transformed life.

- Pray regularly
- Obey God’s Word
