What Does the Bible Say About Leviathan
May 8, 2025Bible Verses About Letting Go Of Someone You Love
May 11, 2025Uncertainty is one of the hardest things to deal with.
You don’t know what’s going to happen.
You can’t control the outcome.
And your mind keeps trying to figure everything out.
That’s where anxiety, overthinking, and fear start to build.
The Bible doesn’t remove uncertainty —
👉 it shows you how to live through it without falling apart.
⚡ What To Do Right Now
- Stop trying to solve everything at once
- Focus on what you can do today (not the future)
- Say: “God, I trust You even if I don’t understand this”
- Take one small, clear action forward
- Come back to truth when your mind starts spiralling
👉 You don’t need the whole plan — just the next step
What the Bible Says About Uncertainty
The Bible is clear:
👉 Uncertainty is normal
👉 Trust is the response
Over and over, scripture connects fear of the unknown with trusting God instead.
For example:
- “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you” (Psalm 56:3)
- “Trust in the Lord… and do not lean on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5–6)
This shows something important:
👉 You are not expected to understand everything
👉 You are expected to trust God in what you don’t understand
How to Handle Uncertainty Using the Bible (Practical Steps)
1. Stop trying to control everything
Uncertainty feels unbearable when you try to control outcomes you can’t control.
What to do:
- Ask: “Is this actually in my control?”
- If not — release it
👉 Control increases anxiety, trust reduces it
2. Focus on today, not the future
Most anxiety about uncertainty comes from thinking too far ahead.
What to do:
- Bring your focus back to today
- Ask:
- “What actually needs to be done right now?”
Matthew 6:34 teaches not to worry about tomorrow because each day has enough of its own concerns
👉 You handle uncertainty by shrinking your focus
3. Replace overthinking with truth
Your mind will try to fill the unknown with worst-case scenarios.
What to do:
- Catch the thought:
- “Something is going to go wrong”
- Replace it with:
- “God is with me. I’m not alone in this”
👉 You don’t eliminate uncertainty — you change how you think inside it
4. Take one step forward
Waiting for clarity before acting will keep you stuck.
What to do:
- Take one small, clear action
- Don’t wait for full certainty
👉 Movement builds clarity — not the other way around
5. Keep bringing it back to God
Uncertainty doesn’t disappear after one prayer.
What to do:
- Talk to God honestly:
- “I don’t know what’s going to happen”
- Keep returning to Him
👉 Trust is built through repetition

Final Thought
Uncertainty is uncomfortable — but it’s not dangerous.
What makes it overwhelming is trying to:
- control everything
- predict everything
- solve everything
You were never meant to do that.
You are meant to:
- take the next step
- trust God with the outcome
- keep moving forward
Over time, something shifts:
👉 You stop needing full clarity
👉 You stop overthinking everything
👉 You become steady, even when life isn’t
And uncertainty loses its grip on you.e.
